Watching Orang Utan Trip

Orang Utan or translated as People of the Forest is unique to Borneo and is a must see attraction when you are in Kuching,Sarawak. The semi-wild Orang Utan are kept in dense forest of a rehabilitation centre (Semonggoh Wildlife Centre) , 30 minutes drive from city centre.

Trip Suitability:

1. Businessman/Day-tripper
   • If you only have a 1 day trip to Kuching and free during the rest of half day, this trip is recommended since you can take some relaxing activity in watching Orang Utan and enjoying the fresh tropical air and beautiful scenery of virgin tropical forest.
2. Family Trip
   • Enthralled your kids by bringing them to see Orang Utan, hailed as the most intelligent apes among it’s kind! If your kids are city folks who never seen a virgin jungle before, this is absolutely a must for them.
3. Specialty Trip
   • Photographers, environmentalist, school trip

What can you expect in the visit:

1. Close encounter Semi-wild Orang Utan during their feeding time
2. Virgin and well maintained virgin forest. You can easily spotted enormous timber trees from various species

What this package come with:

1. Transport from and to your hotel (must be within 5 km from city centre)
2. 1.5L mineral drinking water per person
3. A tour guide

We do not provide:

1. Travel insurance
2. Meal

The trip is either in the morning (0900-1000) or in the evening (1500-1600) during the feeding time. Trip can be arranged on any day of the week.
